The staff at LeeLee's Place has years of experience working with individuals with a Substance Use Disorder in Georgia. The staff is highly trained and qualified to meet the needs of our residents. But is doesn't stop there. The staff is not all about the clinical, there is love and devotion, kindness and dignity; a group of women offering support with every aspects of early recovery.

Paula Becker, CAC

Founder & Program Director

Paula is well versed in the field of addiction. A graduate of Columbus State Community College with a degree in Applied Science, Paula specialized in mental health and addiction studies. She did her Counselor in Training at Willingway Hospital, working side by side with some of the best counselors in the industry. It has been a dream of Paula's to be able to offer a safe place for women in early recovery.


Sharron Thackston

Resident Support Staff

Sharron is a gradate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Recreation and Education. Sharron has a professional background in education and social work before becoming a substance abuse counselor. Sharron has 20 plus years of experience in individual, group and family counseling.

Sharron is a welcomed addition to the staff at LeeLee's Place. Her years of experience working with addiction is certainly an asset for the program.


Trina Duncan

Resident Support Staff

Trina attended Harris College for 3 years before seeking help for addiction. After      completing an inpatient treatment program, Trina made the courageous yet difficult decision to enter an extended sober living program which she graduated from a year later. Trina remained in Statesboro and works in the field of addiction; she loves working with alcoholics and addicts and helping individuals find sobriety. In her spare time Trina enjoys photography and creating art. 


Kaela Langford and Taylor Becker

Resident Support Staff

Kaela and Taylor are our office support staff. They work in tandem to make sure that the house and resident support staff have what they need. Both Kaela and Taylor can be seen at the house weekly helping residents with daily life skills.
